Agora Campout

Last weekend we headed to Osage Hills (about an hour and twenty minutes northwest of us) to camp with our church group. We had so much fun, and there was a big 'ol group! I think we counted 22, which is a new camping record, I think...anyway, everyone had someone to play with, so that was good! We went fishing, and Clay promptly fell in, (about 5 minutes after I took that pic of him)...Micah fished for a bit too, and Ethan just looked around and explored finding cool rocks. After that we went back to the campsite to play. My friend Katie and I were talking about going to the Gap Outlet (which is just about 20 minutes from the campsite) and about 9 other ladies decided to tag along! Now thats what I call camping!! :) Then we came back and had some AMAZING dinner, smores and other fun stuff around the fire. The whole weekend was wonderful, spending time with old friends, making new ones and just enjoying the nature God created! (Corny, I know...but true!)

Cub Scout Cookout!

Friday night we went to a cub scout cookout with Ethans group. His leader Craig had a genius idea of cooking hot dogs on a rake!! It was pretty cool...we could cook 15 at a time....it just got a little heavy! :) Josh thought it was a good idea so he went and got one for our camping trip. Works great for hot dogs....not so great for marshmallows. :) Ethan had lots of fun playing with his buddies, and Clay and Micah made lots of new friends too.

Ethans Theatrical Debut!!!!

Last Thursday night was Ethans Spring program...."GO WEST!!! A Celebration of Americas Westward Expansion!" Fun stuff. They sang lots of songs, and some kiddos even had speaking parts. They had to get dressed up in "period" clothing. All year long they have been studying the Oklahoma Centennial, so this was a fitting program for the end of the year. He did so good....remembered all of the motions (and there were A LOT!)....sang all the words, and had a great big 'ol smile. What a cutie! Good Job Ethan!!!

Clayton gets a fish tank!

Many of you know about Claytons latest battles with seperation anxiety...well, we seem to be doing so much better!! This past week he had all "happy days", no crying!!! Praise the LORD!!! I was subbing all week long, so Josh was taking care of the boys and trying to work from home, so it was a great time to have a good week with Clayton. A few weeks ago, we had set up a tank for Ethan. Clay thought is was pretty cool and he wanted one too, so we made that a reward for having "happy days" at school. That and Mommy would come volunteer in his class. So, he did it!!!!! Friday night we got the tank set up, then Saturday we went and got some fish to put in there. Pretty fun stuff. He's pretty darn excited about it, and Monday Micah and I are going to school with him. I'm so glad we seem to be doing so much better. Thank you all for all your prayers and words of encouragement, and the suggestions from everyone! It means so much to us. Love you all! :)

Grammy and Papa come to visit

This weekend Grammy and Papa came down to visit and see the boys play their games. Wouldnt you know, BOTH games got rained out! Poop! We still had lots of fun playing and setting up Claytons fish tank. We also we to Los Cabos to celebrate Joshuas birthday. So much fun. The boys were so glad to see them, and I think they were glad to see the dudes too... :)

Happy Easter!! :)

We had a great Easter!! The boys had fun dying Easter eggs and finding them after the Easter Bunny had visited and hid them. After we got all done with that stuff, we talked to the boys about the TRUE meaning of Easter. The we got ready and headed to church. After the service, my friend Katie, who was in the nursery this morning, told me that Clayton had told the kids a story. He got into the room and announced..."All you kids who dont know about the REAL Easter, come and sit down, I'm gonna tell you." So they all sat and listened to him, and Katie said he just nailed it!! Then he closed his talk with..."so you kids need to keep up with Easter, because you dont want to go with the Devil, when you die you want to go to heaven with Jesus." Too sweet!! And I just thought he was interested in his new Spiderman water bottle!! :) So fun. After a yummy lunch of grilled chickend and kick @## mashed potatos (yes, I was in HEAVEN!!) Aunt B went home to sleep, and Micah and I curled up on the couch and conked out. Hope you all had a blessed Easter as well!! All our love. :)

Happy Birthday Josh!!!

Monday night was Joshuas 28th birthday. :) Saturday night we had a party for him with some of our friends from church, and the boys and I gave him a new cappucino maker. Now that he is working from home, I'm excited about having a mocah together in the mornings!!! Then Monday night we finished celebrating with his favorite.....dutch apple pie. Yum!! (Although the boys were confused as to why he didnt have a cake!) He also shot a cool bullseye that he was pretty proud of, so I included that on here too. Happy Birthday Baby!!!! We love you so very much.
